Obviously you have never jacked your rear up to see what happens. The wheels spin in opposite direction if you don't have positraction. Good news for all of us that what a true positraction "Locker" ARB now has one available. RD259 is the part number. Good for all 4th gens! Great...
I have been hoping Eaton would come out with a true positraction. My understanding the TrueTrac is still an open diff and does not spin both wheels in the same direction until it slips. Hope they make an E-locker soon but would settle for a "true posi"
Yeah, I'm at retirement age and understand what you are saying. Don't seem noisy to me but they do get worse as they wear. To me it's a truck and these look and sound like a truck tire. Hope ya end up with a good tire, I know it's not an easy decision.
Go America and buy Firestone Destination MT2's. They are made in the good ol US of A and I have been using them on my trucks sense 2004. They last me a good 5-years. I currently have 73k on a set that should last one more year. 10 ply, very tough tire, have never had a flat. Ride is great...
