    2015 Ram 1500 2wd leveled biggest tire?

Gotta do a ton of research on this topic. Some guys say 35x12.5 fit leveled. Others swear that a 4+ inch lift is required "to do it right." Some claim to have done it totally stock. The wheel offset matters too. I think you'll probably be fine, probably depending on your wheel spacers. I...

    New tires!

Haven't posted in a while, but finally have something to post! Finally wore out the OEM GY tires, sitting just below 51k on the odometer. Not the greatest tires in the world (as we all know), but I must say that they served valiantly, haha, especially through 3 winters. Wanted to go 35's, but...

    Ram 1500-MPG Below 10?!?!

Check your plugs and tire pressure.

    Worst MPG You've seen

Lowest tank(s): mid 14's in the winter months, and moderately heavy traffic, just me. recently: 12.5 towing 5000-6000 pounds of boat + ~800 pounds of humans in moderate traffic/red lights. Usually see 17 +-1mpg, during my normal routine, and 20-24 on long highway drives.

    2011 1500 park assist

According to google (on a 2012 anyways), it's located above the passenger side sun visor, above the headliner. Might not hurt to carefully pull your headliner down a little and take a look in there.

TSB For 2015+ 8 speed transmissions?

I towed my buddies boat over the weekend (his chevy broke down, lol) - I saw 8th a couple of times around 60mph with a very slight downhill while using cruise control in tow/haul mode. Not sure if the 2014 is any different, and I'm current on all software. Did pretty good. The boat was full...

New RAM owner - Now what? LOL

AEM dryflow air filter. Cheap, washable (lifetime use if you take care of it), won't void your warranty (all you gotta do is pop your OEM filter back in - wait until the stealership sells you a new one when you're in getting an oil change, so you have a clean OEM filter to pop in as-needed)...

    4x4 problem Ram 2013+ 8-speed 44-44 transfer case

Lol, I guess I just learned that "torque tubes" are proprietary to Corvette's. :favorites13:

    4x4 problem Ram 2013+ 8-speed 44-44 transfer case

Yes, there's a torque tube (I'm blanking on it's formal name) that's engaged to provide torque to the clutch pack when a 4wd mode is selected. It's entirely possible, and probably likely that shaft/tube creates harmonics that are felt and heard when it's engaged.

    4x4 problem Ram 2013+ 8-speed 44-44 transfer case

Allow me to help (maybe). What you two are talking about is a little difficult to follow, so I may just be reinforcing one of your points regardless. I made this video a while back to show that the front "prop" (driveshaft) spins in 2wd. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnqoM-vJxr0...

2015 Ram Sport Crew Curb Weight

1500 CC Sports are usually 5200-5500lbs depending on options. Mine is 5,4xx with every option and the short-bed. Ram CC 2500's start around 6200-6300lbs. If you want to know exactly what your vehicle weighs (as it sits now), find a *real* high performance shop nearby, not a neon-light and...

    HID Wiring Harness?

Light output with Retro's 35w 5000k is great. 55w will probably be better, but your bulb lifespan will be shorter, and oncoming traffic might not appreciate it. Be realistic about your driving situation. If you're out in the southern country most of the time with low traffic, minimal street...

    Octane and DTE

Not always true. My "Lie-o-meter" have never been more than 0.3mpg off, high or low, and is usually almost dead on with my calculator. But I reset mine immediately after starting the engine after topping my tank off. I'm willing to bet that I'm in the minority of people having an accurate...

    Too Many Miles?

120 miles sounds like it was test driven/demo'd more than usual, and/or a sales person threw dealer tags on it and drove it for a couple days. New cars that have never been on a test drive should have less than 5-10 miles on them. However, I do know that "new" means never titled/registered...
