You need to ask around locally. They will charge you more then likely just their hourly labor rate and every shop is different. At the end of the day you might only save yourself $20-$30 but it will be shop installed and welded in which will always last longer.

Exactly what I was going to say. They are almost the same truck. In all honesty work the price down on the 37k one. You don't get a sunroof and side steps which isn't much. You don't sound like getting 3.92 gearing is necessary and such and that's the only other real difference. Lower mileage...
Good idea, if you post the VIN numbers I'll grab you the window stickers and point you in the right direction. What would you be using the truck for on a day to day basis? How frequently would you tow and / or haul? Anything in particular you are looking for?

Mush better prices. I'd say go with the lower mileage but get the vin's of both trucks and run them in a window sticker finder. Compare the two and see why there is a 3.5k difference in price. To be honest 37k and 47k are almost the same mileage for a modern vehicle.

That is exactly what I did just a year later, sticker was 53 and walked out at 39. Not as good of a deal but still a sweet deal

I'd pay 18,000 for it max. At 96000 miles you round that to 100000, and those are the trucks you compare them to. It will more then likely need a cam job in the not too distant future and such so it needs to be the right price with those miles

No way, paid 39000 for a 2017 with 34miles on it. So it was new and that was only back in April as it was a left over. Keep looking! You can find that price on something with 40-60000 miles

I have zautomotive working on a fix using the ramtazer. I will verify once I get the software what my truck with a 32gallon tank reads. I'll also ask about possibly changing the reserve fuel amount as well

Best ram for gas mileage would be 2wd single cab short bed with a v6. Literally stripped down to nothing. In my very honest opinion it's a truck, you don't worry about gas mileage

I am local to zautomotive and I work with them as far as stuff for the Rams go. I've already messaged them about this. If he can simply find it for the ramtazer unit I'll let you know if it's easy to do.

The mileage is set to something just short of 10000 miles as that is what you can push today's oil to with no issues. The truck needs to be in the run position without the engine on to reset the counter. Not sure your kid would have all the parameters met to actually do it. If you don't reset...
If I'm reading this correctly, yes. If you do your oil change every 5000miles, for an example, and reset the oil life meter it will reset the mileage since last change as well. I go off of milage since I do about 75% of my driving on highway.
