    Bilstein 5100 vs 6112

Well I know what I'm doing when I kill my 5100s. My truck is near GVWR most of the time. Just put on my 285/75R17s and with those and our ****** roads, I don't see more than 2 winters before they are cooked

17x9 positive offset of +18. LT285/75R17 Toyo AT3 load C. Just barely peeks past the wheel well

Alright guys.. BILSTEINS post your pics!!!

Whatever is offered by airdelete.ca in the Bilstein package. Thanks. Will swap my P285/70R17 Toyo Observe winter tires to LT285/75R17 Toyo AT3 around end of March when it warms up.

Alright guys.. BILSTEINS post your pics!!!

5100s 2.1 front, +35% capacity coils and 5100s rear. There is about 600# in the truck between back seat and bed and it sits level so I will probably throw some trim spacers in the rear.

Needing some help before installing mods

Coming along good so far. Pics when the wheels and tires are on! This spring I'll find out the hard way how 285/75R17 and 3.55 works out.

Interesting. So how is it the clutch packs are supposed to engage?

If you use 2018 Ram when you search for parts you will get a lot more results. I'm not sure what of importance changed when the new body style came out and they kept building the old Gen 4 and called it a classic. Do you have a particular offset in mind for the wheels? Most methods are either 0...

    8hp70 heater bypass

R22 was great, it had a next to zero ODP, and a half decent GWP. There is still tons of R22 equipment out there, but at least there are "drop in" replacements out there. All the HFCs using that God forsaken POE oil are on the chopping block. Like R410a, good riddance when it goes away in the...

    8hp70 heater bypass

It is, but there are a lot more explosive things in greater concentrations in a vehicle. I'm waiting for the new A2 flammable refrigerants to hit the residential and light commercial market. But yeah the super low GWP is why some of these blends exist. I don't know automotive guidelines, but I...

Good lord. Aren't these using the YF1234 refrigerant as well? Last I checked that was worth a few internal organs per lb

    8hp70 heater bypass

I understand what Fiat Chrysler is doing here but they sure went about it odd. Like why not have a solenoid controlled by the ECU and a thermistor reading to open the passage, and have the passage larger for better flow. Like they spent all this money to design and make the heater, and then use...

https://www.tire-reviews.com/Tire-Tests/Results-Grid/2022-Tire-Reviews-All-Terrain-Tire-Test.htm I found this handy. A mix of off road and road biased ATs, helpful as many of us daily drive these trucks.

Was hoping to see what was found with the ones guys transmission with the random temp spikes. Didn't see a switch to Chevy coming after 65+ pages. Throughout the 68 pages here, I believe I saw mentioned that the Stellantis cars do not necessarily use a heater like the 1500 Rams. Some BMW/other...
