long bed. The Titan is 55 so i gained 23 gallons. That was plenty for me. Well... Until i saw they where doing a sale so not those in beds look pretty tempting.
Ya if the engine is stock (not tuned or deleted) I would not worry too much about it as long as it runs and sounds good. The tranny is the major weak point on them so find out if it has ever been rebuilt. With most diesel trucks, the truck themselves fail apart way before the engine.
Install went good. Luckily, they have great instructions as well as helpful videos. I did the whole thing in my driveway (no lift) it was time consuming but not super difficult. Now i just need to get it hooked to the trailer and take it out for a long road trip.
the government/EPA regulations make it virtually impossible to do larger, replacement and auxiliary tanks for gasoline. So in-bed tanks with a pump can be done for gasoline. I like how titan has a in-bed tank for gasoline that goes over the wheel wells. I use it to refill snowmobiles and dirt bikes.
Just got my Titan Fuel Tank! Excited to actually be able to pull my trailer without stopping all of the time. Going to do the install this week so i will let everyone know how it goes! anyone know about these tanks?
