'04 Low beam not working....
I replaced both the IPM and the pop tart FCM in 2019. The IPM was from https://tipmrebuilders.com I got the FCM from the local Pick-A-Part. I bought the truck used at 113K and know it was in at least one maybe two accidents in it's previous life as the left side shows evidence of repainting...- RWlRAM

How did this water get in?
My used '04 had a plain rear window and I'd get some water through it so I decided to get a slider installed. It leaked so bad I had an inch of water in one of the junk trays behind the seat and the carpet was soaked. Finally got things dried out and used some sealant around the top and sides...- RWlRAM

Wheel hub replacement, what else should I change while there.
If we're talking 4X4 front hubs, be sure to replace the castle nut that holds things in place. I didn't do it on my '94 and a year later the assembly went south while I was on vacation and got ripped for $800 which lasted another year. Found out the nut is a ONE TIME use item so third time it...- RWlRAM

About Antifreeze/Coolant
I have an '04 1500 and an '18 Grand Cherokee. They take different coolants. Hate messing with 2 different types. I had the '04 flushed and switched to the same as the '18. Only need to have one type on hand to top off if needed.- RWlRAM

The 3G cell system was supposed to end in 2021 but was extended into 2022. Different providers will stop at different times but from what I've found, by mid year they're most likely all done with 3G. BAD THINGS HAPPEN
I've had the third brake light leak on a '94 and '04. Easy fix was remove clean all surfaces well. Reinstall fixture. Blue tape the perimeter of the fixture. Remove fixture. 2015 1500 massively screwed. Lost only ignition key fob and locked out.
If I'm not mistaken on how the FOB works, as long as that FOB is in the vehicle, it can be started and driven away if broken into? How can you lock the doors if it's in the vehicle? I guess you can manually hit the buttons. The FOB is transmitting as long as it has power, which is another thing...- RWlRAM

Is Upgrading To Factory Navigation Worth It?
When we bought our Grand Cherokee I though about getting the Nav system but the vehicle we got didn't have it. Ended up getting the "U" connect app and using my Samsung for mapping. Has worked fine for our use. It has voice directions if you want to listen to it or mute it. No map upgrades...- RWlRAM
