    I had to take the truck to the dealership for an unrelated recall and while I was there I asked them to take out the extra oil. Turns out there was one quart over filled. Since then I have no longer heard the ticking noise. Thank you everyone for your help!

    @Loudram it may be difficult to see on the picture, the entire plastic part is covered in oil. The oil reaches about 1/4in into the metallic part.

    I noticed it when the truck was idle. I'll pay attention to see if it happens while I drive too. I checked the engine oil level, it looks like there's oil above the "safe" marking. Could the problem be that there's too much oil in there?

    Hi, did you manage to replace the AUX buttons with with the comfort buttons? I'm interested in doing the same thing. I don't mind losing the AUX buttons for now as I have no use for them.
