Thanks for the replies! It is tilt. I am a big guy so there is not a lot of room in between me and the wheel...LOL! I didn't realize that the tilt columns were GM....will look into bearing replacement. Thanks again!- Supermoose

Best options for steering shaft replacement on 89 W-150? I just bought it, has been sitting for almost 10 years. I have a lot of slop in steering wheel. When shaking the shaft, under hood, the play seems to be in the steering column above the rag joint. Do I need to replace the steering column...- Supermoose

locking mechanisms are frigged
I have an 89 W 150 with power windows and locks and I have been having the same issue. I think that the linkages are probably just gunked up. I will most likely take the door panels off and clean and lube everything. I want to get rid of the power accessories, so that I don't have to deal with...- Supermoose
