I hope you can answer a couple of questions...

I saw your post joined the oil forum, and contacted Gena...
I now have 7 qts of 5W-20 Pennzoil thx to you and Gena...

      1. I am getting close to oil change interval... do I dump my Mobil1 and take a sample of it to send in for a baseline?... or do I wait to take a sample from a normal interval using the Pennzoil?

      2. Will Blackstone send me another oil sample kit automatically when they get mine?

      3. anything else I need to know?

      thax for your help

20wt oils were created for 1 reason CAFE-->MPG ! Not Lower Wear Numbers! These oils still proved good engine protection within the Daily Driver!
I just believe there are better options out their & so does Ram/ Chrysler when the engine is worked. Other wise my manual (guideline) would not state that if I can't find a 20wt oil a 30wt oil will be more then acceptable. It's is just simply My oil viscosity preference.

My MDS has functioned perfectly with my 30Wt/40Wt combo. Many other owners have proved the MDS myth wrong.

I feel I don't need the Boutique Oils to achieve the SAME results that I would have achieved with the Synthetic oils I can buy right off the local shelves or My Amazon. Also just not a Fan of paying Tax & Ridiculous shipping costs for my oil changes!

      Hope this helps?

Quick question since I don't have much time to do the research (my dealer dumped my oil by mistake (Amsoil Signature 05-20). What made you switch to 5-30 and does it harm the engine (MDS)?

      Thanks!!

P.S. And why not Redline or Amsoil?
