Well that was unexpected ! Lifter gone 52,000 miles.
Mine started at 57k started out as a squeaking noise only thing I can think of is the needle bearing seizing very frustrated as I have maintained this motor meticulously.- tsawyer1234

I hate Noises this one is driving me crazy!
That's just it the noise is all over if I get my scope under the manifold, it seems more prevalent towards the middle of the engine. It is there much worse at low rpms unless eng noise is drowning it out at higher rpms I can't hear it at all hwy speeds going to disconnect the converter and see...- tsawyer1234

Yes thought about that flex plate good and noise is not coming from the timing chain cover could be a tensioner but no chin slap it's driving me crazy wish it would break then I could fix it.- tsawyer1234

I hate Noises this one is driving me crazy!
So, this noise just started yesterday milage 54k on a 04 5.7 Ram 1500 extremely well maintained. I thought it would be a belt or tensioner, but I did the water pump about 6 months ago and changed every tensioner and pulley along with the belt. I changed the oil running a Napa gold filter 5-30...- tsawyer1234

A/C Capacity chart worn out by now !!
Doing a compressor swap out have a clogged orifice tube on my 2004 1500 Hemi. Decided might as well do the compressor and accumulator while it was apart as mileage is at 300.000 . The capacities chart is long gone and there are so many different options online anyone know the correct pag oil...- tsawyer1234
