    Bump Ride Under 5 mph.

If nothing else I’m glad I can vent here. Truck is back at the dealer. The service representative tells me their master technician drove it and says what you’re feeling is normal for the 6 cylinder.......the second you hear normal it gets your adrenaline pumping. I said I, or nobody else would...

Yeah. We just had a baby, so I had to put the truck issue on the back burner.

    Intermittent no-start

It's happened to me about 3 times. Does a half crank and doesn't start. Only one time did it do this when actually trying to start the truck with a key. I have a "lost communication with body control module" permanent code that apparently doesn't mean anything.

    Bump Ride Under 5 mph.

Update: I spent 3 hours waiting around at the dealership today. The guy tells me that the technician couldn't feel what I was talking about. I said, "I'll get in the truck with him and I can make it happen right away." Then he said, "well, let me see if another technician can drive it and see...

    8 speed clunk?

I used to have this issue a while back when the truck was under a year old and was led the believe that this is the transmission learning phase (or whatever it's called). It eventually went away. At around 45,000 miles my truck became very bumpy/bouncy under 5 mph. The dealer told me I needed 4...

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I have been under the truck and I was also surprised by how rusty the drive shaft looks. I don't really get a "clunk". The truck just bounces until it gets up to about 5mph. It will drive you insane in stop and go traffic.

So I've still been having this problem, but I discovered something new. It doesn't bounce and isn't bumpy at all when I have the truck in neutral. On a slight downward slope I can slowly get up to speed by releasing the breaks and it's as smooth as can be. I definitely have to take this in to...

    Throwing engine code U0140

I plugged in mine today and I have the same code. Were you experiencing any issues?

    Bump Ride Under 5 mph.

I went to Pep Boys this morning. I showed them the tires, told them everything I have done and they agreed to give me two new tires 90% off and a $60 alignment. It came out to around $145. Seemed like a pretty good compromise. I was happy with that and I gained some respect for Pep Boys. I came...

Interesting coincidence how this guy with a 2014 1500 said they're the worst tires he's ever had. Review by tick I promise it wasn't me! lol Edit: Wrong tire. This was for the Defender. Mine are Premier.

The bounce is at the slow speeds. It feels like a less exaggerated version on going up a roller coaster.

So here's the latest. New shocks. Still bounces, but noticibly smoother ride. I and going to need new tires no doubt. Here are some pictures of the tires. 13,000 miles! http://imgur.com/a/7h3Co

Good to know. I had also heard that the bolt by the fuel tank is difficult to remove.

I wish. No. They're charging me ~$1000 to do the shocks. They were charging ~$1400 I know it's a ripoff. Shocks are easy, I just don't have the time and this is driving me crazy. I'm going to go back to crappy Pep Boys and try to get something out of the tire warranty.
