Power Wagon as a daily commuter
My 2016 PW is my only vehicle. I'm very happy with it as a daily driver. Average MPG is 14 to 15, using the recommended 89 octane.- walc

Required octane?
I agree that engines that don't have a manufacturer's recommendation for more than 87 octane don't benefit from a higher grade. However, I don't believe Ram would recommend 89 octane, for the 6.4L, if it wasn't better than regular 87. So, I'll keep paying around 25 cents more per gallon to fuel...- walc

Octane used on a 2012 PW
89 octane is recommended. 87 is ok. 91 is of no benefit.- walc

Correct Tire Pressure
TPMS is set per the door decal for 60 front and 65 rear cold. Vehicles are shipped, from the factory to the dealer, overinflated. I always inflate according to the door decals. I figure the factory engineers know more than I do.- walc

2016 PW - 8 days old - explody drive shaft
Sorry to hear of your troubles. I bought a 2016 Power Wagon on 2/24/2016. It was built in August 2015. I've driven around 600 miles with no problems and no open recalls are listed on Ram Owner Connect.- walc
