Anyone running 275/65r20 on the stock express rims leveled?

2014 Express quad cab, 4x4 HEMI 1500 on Cooper Discoverer ATP 275/65R20 on OEM wheels. Leveled with Bilstein 5100s at 2.8” up front, a 3/4” rear spacer by Top Gun Customs and 1.5” Supreme Suspension wheel spacers to “untuck” the wheels/tires.

Do the 6” kit

These trucks look great with it. And considering they sit like a mini van from the factory the 6” lifts are perfect with 35s!

Does going with 6” make it too tall though? Or rough riding? I have a year old that my wife already struggles putting in the truck at stock

running boards :) the problem with a 6" lift can be parking it, either in your own garage or a parking garage. They look great, though.

Rough ride is mostly due to tire selection. The suspension has some effect but not nearly as much as the tires do......

Just got my lift installed. Zone 4/3 with bils at 1.4. Left me with 1/2” of rake.

Damn good looking rig, 35" tires? Thinking about the same size lift since it should still fit in the 7 foot garage I have to park in at work.

Now when it comes to that it’s a different story. I have a 2 month old and the baby seats in the back middle seat. It definitely takes more effort but I don’t think the 4” kit is any easier to be honest with regards to this because either way you’ll have to use the sidesteps to accomplish getting the baby seat in...

Yea I figured. I have steps on already that came with my ram. Ive been looking a lot at differences in the heights and I think I’m gonna stick with the 4”.

Well after a little settling in the rear I only had about 1/4” of rake at best, which to me, left it looking so dead level that almost appeared nose high. Since I ended up replacing the UCA’s I decided to lower the front struts to .07, now I have a constant 1/2”-3/4” of rake. Which is exactly where I want it to be! Very happy with the current stance.

The rake looks perfect to me too, although looks are always subjective to the beholder, my BDS 4 inch with 3 coils in the rear are not enough to take the sag out from the Shell, I ordered 1.5 inch motofabs to slip in the rear coils, hope to sit like yours when they are in..EJ ECD.jpg

Man that looks awesome! I wonder if I will notice much of a difference going to a 4" from being leveled with bilsteins? I've looked at a few trucks recently in person, two had 6inch with 37s and another had 6 inch with 35s, I still haven't seen a 4" kit on the rams.

That’s the setup I had before going to the 4”. I thought the same thing, it’s a noticeable change. Wish I would have done it sooner. Makes a big difference!

I'd be interested in those fender measurements too

When I had the bilsteins at 2.8 my measurements were....
(Measured from ground to fender lip)

Front 39 3/4”
Rear 40”

With the lift my current measurements are......
(Measured from ground to fender lip)

Front 43 1/4”
Rear 43 7/8”

Alright, it was a nice day the other day and I had just washed the truck and went for a drive. e075cce9d654dc1a779842c1a2438efd.jpg3af03f449c76626e9317f139dc4f1067.jpg0bfa22a3c6f7697ae7274be47c7bbdca.jpg6d65527f6b10e92829dfa44c63c695c9.jpgbadd9fb6ab1fe5aed29a31c4b4c9485f.jpg5f63af9618263e49f9b1cbf4eb5c5a41.jpg
