I’ve posted the whole process of what needs to be done to make it work over at this thread. I’ve built several of these harnesses for people now, and use the i440 connector to get power, ground, and Lin. Depending on the trim of your truck you may just need to go to the green connector behind the headlight switch and not all the way to the radio connector.

Hello DeereGuy,

I have a question regarding the install, I have a 2016 with 8.4 screen. Currently I have a PAC BCI-CH41 which acts as my navigation bypass with extra inputs from camera via a RCA input. I have access to a mopar 68163937af third brake light with camera. Is there a way to make a harness for this to make it work?

Almost identical to the instructions that I provide earlier in this thread. You do not need to use the bus connection. Since you’re using an RCA connector and not pinning the harness you can just cut off a connector from an old RCA cable. You just need to get a camera wiring harness that has the connector for the camera on one end. I ended up with an extra one of these from my project.

Another option for @DeereGuy ....
fill out the contact form at www.kaodtech.com

Thanks,
Mike G.

PS: we both have regular full time jobs in addition to the harness work but try to get back to everyone as soon as possible.

I never heard back either so I ended up making my own. I followed the instructions in this thread https://www.ramforum.com/threads/oe...amera-connected-to-8-4ra.125421/#post-1805236 Finished up the install this weekend. Had one hiccup. The diagrams I found showed the pinouts as from the front of the connector not the wiring side. I was 1 wire off on the harness to the radio. I only needed the power wire and ground for the connector in the drivers c pillar. The canbus wire might be needed for the alignment lines, but I didn't need them. I just wanted the view of the bed. Works great though.

If I don’t get a response, I will have to do this, thanks!

Got the wiring, installed it on my 2015 with 17.43.01 and enabled with it Alfaobd, it shows cargo camera button in controls, when I press it only shows backup camera and no option to switch to cargo. And also when going to reverse it doesn’t go to back up camera, unless I manual select the cargo camera than it will show back up camera. Anyway possible to downgrade to 17.11.01 version? Really need this to work

Message sent with info to switch the inputs to display correctly once you get the 17 radio installed to support both cameras.
