I don’t always park it in there, being in California weather. Typically it’s only in there for maintenance, upgrades, or cleaning. Up top is an awning that is affixed with some custom brackets to the toppers factory rail.

This is as extreme as it gets on my property, no rocks or boulders to play on. Would love to have a rock garden! These two mounds were once a gap jump my kids would hit on dirt bikes in their younger years. Damn I need 37’s, gonna get them this winter.3DEF778E-474C-4E57-B192-75031CB825C5.jpeg 41719114-D212-4A9B-8BDA-94FF5D260CC8.jpeg

I never jumped my Raptor though “all the cool kids would doing it”

I have a little dirt to play with my Wagon on my property too!

Since I won’t have a decent garage to park the new PW in, I’m considering getting the LoJack anti theft/recovery system. I know that there are other systems out there. Any feedback or reviews from personal experience out there? Thanks. The new ‘19 PW should be delivered around the end of this month. I’m told that it is on the train in Mexico heading north.
Mine came with a 3rd party one but I didnt subscribe to it. When I start traveling I might..

I actually have even a further walk to my boat's 25 foot deep tent garage than to my Power Wagon's pole barn garage. It's in the same direction, but just to the left of my original pole barn photo of my property. Got plenty of steep 4x4 terrain with large boulders, boulder fields up to 1/2 the size of a Volkswagen bug. Unfortunately, it's pristine with a creek, marsh and pond, and so I promised my youngest daughter that I wouldn't disturb it.

Oh that’s too bad. Looks like a good place to play.
if you get feet of snow coming in, I guess you do not park in the pole barn? Or you have a plow on your atv? We only considered Mountain liven’ as a 2nd home as I would get cabin fever for sure.

Cabin fever is why I'm going to get an airstream basecamp x and become a nomad in 2024

We're located at approximately 6,000 feet elevation which is roughly the same elevation as Fort Carson. No warm Chinook winds like the Front Range though, instead our winds are cold.

Started parking my PW in the pole barn just recently. I pull a homemade snow plow behind it
that clears a 9 to 10 foot wide path.
6000 is not bad. I was in Evergreen looking for a home when I lived in Highlands Ranch. with the winch I bet a plow option is doable at a low cost on the PW.
though I would just use my tractor.

post a video of the rooster tail that you throw up from the PW next time you have to pull it out and there is 2 foot of snow in the way!!
Hopefully I will find myself in the snow this year at Estes Park.

My Jeep on the left was running bfg m/t (sipes)till I moved to Texas. Then bfg ko2.
I really like the Pros but I know I will not hear the maxx at hwy speeds plus get more life out of them. What I hate about the Dura Tracs that came with the truck is they load up in the mud to easy and don’t seem to be self cleaning.

I am running the S/T Maxx. Just got home from staying 4 nights at the state park across the street from Fort Carson while helping with a move. My son-in-law runs the S/T Pros and he stated that the tires "suck" in our winter driving conditions.

Towed my travel trailer back home via Hwy 24 to 50 over Monarch Pass which was snow plowed, but still still icy/sloppy. There's seven summits/passes to my home on this route and Monarch was the only snow covered one. Avoided I-70 due to Glenwood Canyon road construction. However, glad that we did due to it was closed west bound at Copper Mountain until 4:09 PM yesterday due to an accident on Vail Pass/Summit.

Running Duratrac tires on my Chevrolet K1500 and one KO2 tire on the travel trailer after shredding the OEM LT trailer tire.
They suck in the snow!? Okay I never see snow but once a year when I go skiing, would he have a preference if snow was not a factor. “mailgator” on this form got Pros but he is the only other person I know to ask from a PW prospective.

Probably the best due my son-in-law is running them on a 2018 4 door Rubicon. Granted not all of the Pros blocks have sipes. I've been reading the snow reviews of the General Grabber X3. The rubber is designed to remain flexible in cold. Been good snow reviews. Interested in the 315 70R17 @ 34.4 inch, but with 25,000 miles on my 285 75R17 S/T Maxx @ 34.1" when new they still have lots of tread depth left.
I ran the General a/t on my super duty because they were a E rated tire. yes the sipe m/t are the way to go. Discount tires did it for me for a fee, when I lived in CO. Your son in law will not have an opinion on tow and payload as the Jeep floats on top the surface if 12.5 wide tires are installed as you know. The 10” is best if all you want is a snow tire as you made that statement before.
