Hi all.
Does anyone have advice for the p0443 error code (evaporative emission control system purge control valve circuit malfunction)?
Was driving 70mph and truck started to sputter and died after pulling off the freeway. Able to park in a park and ride. Starts and runs but sputters on take off and will eventually die but I am able restart it, no problem. I’m at a loss...

the purge valve is usually located on the drivers fender or on the firewall near the brake booster, if it's sputtering and dying it sounds like the hoses are off or cracked open.

I would start by checking all your lines that run from the intake to the purge valve, if they are okay, then replace the purge valve. that should fix you up.

I changed the page valve about a year ago. The lines look okay. Truck sputters and dies when slowing down to make a turn.
