Dash Cam Aux Switch Wiring Question

Installed a Thinkware dash came have the following wires from the harness below inwant to wire it tonAux switch 4 in my 22 Ram 2500. Connected them as below what would I connect the Acc wire too or just leave it? I will configure the Aux switch only to turn on when ignition is on and then latch it so it remembers.

Yes I searched but it’s dark and I’m tired lol

Red-Acc ?????
Black Ground—grounded to frame
yellow-power—connected to Aux 4 input in engine

ACC i believe stands for ACCORY power so it is only hot ( got power when key is in ACC (accessory position) if truck is off no power or truck is running no power goes to that wire!
NOT a 100% sure but that's been my experience

I agree but does it need to be connected to anything? Not an electrician but I figure if
the Aux switch is controlling the power it won’t need connecting or connect the acc and not the battery one

Ok i would think power is (+) constant power when key is on truck is running (-) is Ground and ACC is (+) only on Acc

If AUX is constant power when truck is running i would still find a ACC power source for that one red wire

The ACC most likely need to go On/Off so the dash cam knows when the truck is on. The yellow wire most likely need to stay hot all the time so parking mode will work properly.

I also have a thinkware mine is wired to a battery pack for parking mode. Just use a fuse tap to wire to anything that comes on when the truck is running

I used a fuse tap into circuit for environment in fuse box so only on when running

Y’all think it would hurt to connect them both together since the Aux switch would be ignition controlled? On my way back with it and grab some taps just in cass
