I have ABS codes for steering angle > normal and when i scan it with alphaobd it reads 5103.5 and does not change with turning the steering wheel. I have a 2013 ram 1500 tradesman. I figured for sure it has to be an issue with the clock spring so i got a new one and it reads the same. So now im thinking it has to be a wiring issue. So i went through my wiring diagrams
C1-connects to turn signal
1-ground-good
2-hot all the time 12.5V
3-lin bus continuity with C2 and C3
4- hot while run 12.2V on run
C2
1-ground-good
2-lin bus communicates with C1/C3
3-hot all the time 12.5v
4-connects to C3 0.2ohms resistance
5-connects to C3 0.2ohms resistance
6- connects to C3 0.2ohm resistance
C3
1-hot all the time 12.5V
2-lin bus continuity with C1/C2
3-Can C continuity at star bus
4-Can C continuity at star bus
5-Hot while run 12.2V
6-Connects to C2
7-Connects to C2
8-Connects to C2
9-Ground-good
C4
1-airbag
2-airbag
3-airbag
4-airbag
C5-heated steering wheel not used
C6-steering wheel buttons control
C7- airbag
Everything checks out. Any ideas?
