    Each tire. If each tire says 3500, then it is 7K for that axle. If you are sitting at 5K on your rear axle, then you are at 71% of your tire's max weight for that axle. If the max PSI of your tire is 70, then you would multiply that by 71% and get 49.7 PSI.

    Those PSI don't apply if you use different tires, and can be dangerous is you downgrade to a D vs. E rated tire. The calculation is pretty simple. Know your max PSI at max weight. Then, determine unloaded weight; then as a % of max weight the tire allows. Then reduce your PSI by that same %.

    I hate my lift, what should I get instead?

    Been said several times, but Thuren and Carlie build suspension systems. AEV builds a solid hybrid system and lift. Other dealers like Icon have stage 1-4, with good reputations. I would stay away from anything that doesn't use King, Fox or Radflo shocks. Just my 2 cents.

    Just joined. Recent upgrade from 1500 to 2500 Cummins after I bought an Airstream. Digging the truck. Upgraded to AEV wheels, 35 Toyo AT3's, Switchpros and ARB Twin Air compressor.
