Did you attempt for a different dealer to do a dealer trade for the truck you ordered? I’ve had this issue with a different brand. Went to a different dealer, whom snuck in to getting the original dealer for a trade which is done often between them, and had my vehicle a few days later at a close...
Houston is certainly a high contributor of flooded vehicles. Louisiana and Alabama or basically that whole part of the country are bad. I’ve read or seen somewhere about 80% or most of the flooded vehicles get shipped overseas to the unexpected countries.
I’m sure it’s not unknown but carfax can be of help and would list the Incidence especially if the prior owners insurance had been involved. The report will list number of prior owners etc and I know there pretty good at noting the service work and other things having been done to the vehicle by...
Definitely a windshield issue regarding the distorted view. I just had Safelite auto glass replace my windshield and they wasn’t able to get the new windshield to calibrate correctly so thru had to order a windshield directly from manufacturer. Since it arrived I’ve no issue with my viewing...
Also other manufacturers are having hitches that are a bigger size than the normal, or what used to be the normal sized hitch. You have to buy an insert to use if you’re wanting to tow any current trailers. I don’t understand the reasons or what the purpose to this. Anyone know?
Atleast you’re able to get a receiver whereas don’t open the hood in the dark as there’s no lighting that comes on when you open it! No wiring for one either. So another heads up. Oh this is on my 21 limited longhorn.
If think the body shop would be on the hook to fix this. Your truck wasn’t like that before the accident so I’d contact insurance company and let them know about the problem and have a adjuster look at it while at the body shop. I hope you get things back in order as it’s a nice looking truck
The link that Dinky posted was of great help. Now I’ll just have to turn it back on. Still don’t know how I turned it off but I did. Again not Tech Savvy so who knows!!! Lol. Thankyou for the reply.
Thank you. I believe I’ve found the answer. It’s the Forward Collision Warning. Strange but hopefully it’ll turn that yellow light off.
I appreciate y’all’s time. Happy motorin!
That’s the weird part, I’m not seeing it In any writing. I go through the manual again but I just find this light curious. Maybe needing to get my eyes checked!! lol
Can anyone tell me what this light means that’s in my instrument cluster. My trucks a 2021 1500 limited Longhorn. I’ve never seen this alert before and I’m not able to find anything in the owner manual or else I’m just missing it. It being yellow I’m taking it as not an emergency but strange...
My apologies for another question on my cabin air filter. I have a 2021 1500 limited longhorn and the filter is not located behind the lower glove box. I’ve seen that the filter could be under the hood? I’ve never had the filter under the hood but if anyone else has, where is the dang thing...
I’ve no interest in electric vehicles regardless if it’s a car or truck. I’ll keep burning my gas guzzling fossil fueled truck as long as I live! Lol. Plus the fact there’s absolutely no infrastructure here nor even a remote chance of current electric grid structure able to provide such...
Felled in saying our interstate speed limits here in AZ are 75, (and you still get ran over ******* people off if your going that slow), and with most hi-ways at 65. That two makes a difference I think.
I get better mpg during winter months then summer. 1, because of that blended ethanol and 2nd because summer I run the AC full time. Running the AC is my biggest drop reason but I’m not complaining about fuel economy to much. I drive a truck for a reason and not a tesla but glad to see your...
If I was wanting to add the cargo camera to my 21 ram 1500 limited longhorn with the 12” screen, plus I already have the 360 view, digital rear view mirror. Seems like every camera I can have except for the cargo bed camera. Can adding the bed camera be done with all the other cameras working in...
8k is about $200 bucks a month in payments. The average is around 20-25 bucks per $1k. You did the right thing. You don’t owe any explanation to the dealer that was 8k over. Enjoy your new truck when it comes in! Take a pic and share it on the forum.
So I guess we’re only allowed to check fluids during the daytime? Lol. Cost the manufacture mere pennies to have them installed like they were many many years. I just didn’t think about it until I went to check the oil the other night and wasn’t able to see the dipstick. Haha. Guessing I’m the...
Does anyone give consideration as to what it takes to make all the crap. Fossil fuel is about in every product that made in some shape or form. So after the “no fossil” rule comes to full speed what’s the solar panels, wire, etc going to be made. Hell the current President has us almost to this...
It’s a limited longhorn but yes I probably got screwed a bit. Not as smart as some when buying a new truck. The msrp was just shy of 77k and is my special ordered Air Force Interior also a 10th anniversary edition. So any ways I’ve got the truck I wanted plus to make the payments
I appreciate...
I apologize if it’s been posted elsewhere however I’ve not found it. I bought a Ram Limited Longhorn 1500 and just now noticing there’s no light under the hood of my truck. These trucks are going for almost 80k with all the bells n whistles but they don’t come with a light? Or is my truck...
