Advice for potential used truck buyer
My 2015 has been pretty darn good. Just turned 93000 miles. No problems. I check for rust every spring and fall. Remove fender wells and such. Respray any corrosion spots after total cleaning. No rust! I live in northern minnesota so,salt on roads. I guess im kinda **** and ocd. But that truck...- george55378

Power drain
Pull fuse m41. Sometimes the infotainment system will keep coming out of sleep mode and can cause this. I recently diagnosed a 2013 with same scenario and found starter Solenoid drawing current due to bad winding insulation. Pretty Profound. Strange Anomally. Big time bearing play too! Hey Ram dudes and ladies!!
Add 1 farad capacitor per 1000 watts. Use good quality cap with low ESR. Keep grounds as short as possible. Ensure amps are fed right gage cable. Rockford Fosgate makes a really good cap setup.- george55378
