Over heating issue.
I know right. Thought it was a thermostat issue at 1st and I replaced it and it seemed to be fine after that and then I replaced the water pump then when spring time/ warm weather I was unable to keep the engine cool. Over heating issue.
Just wanted to give an update I took out the Thermostat. Changed the wanter pump. Come to find it was a bad clutch fan. I did replace it with a new one . Now the new one is starting to act up. I am going to replace it again I will keep you all updated thanks- tommyboy8072002

Hi everyone. I drove the truck yesterday and didn't over heat till i hit 70 mph .after driveing 45 minutes Then started to slowly rising to 245 degrees. Over heating issue.
Update this morning. I let the engine run for an hour. I went and checked the temp gauge and it said over 200 degrees. Popped the hood. I had no pressure on Radiator cap and Radiator was cold. Sorry should of stated this in the frist post. Down fall it doesn't Stay hot. The minute you pull over temp starts to drop.. Sometimes I do. I also might have a bad heater core.. Or heat duck issue. What I Mean by that it blows out cold on your face and feet on the driver side but when. It's on the defrost it's hot / warm on both sides. ( driver & passenger)- tommyboy8072002
