97 ram 1500 No heat . Thermostat and H core are good , Any suggestions?

I filled with a few things. I tapped on the valve that you showed me. And got a few more degrees off the heater . So I ordered a new one as well as a new radiator cap. Possibly not getting the proper pressure buildup on the system. It's Only 10 bucks and always good to have a spare if I'm wrong

Hey Dean I just pulled the switch. And it's moving quite a bit . I also felt the shaft for the blend door while moving the dial. The shaft turns about a half revolution. So it seems that is working. You can hear the vents shifting to the other outlets. And on the ac to heat switch you can hear...

97 ram 1500 No heat . Thermostat and H core are good , Any suggestions?

All the placement selections work. floor , defrost ect. so no vacuume leak. when ac is selected . compressor kicks on. . Core is flowing . so by elimination its either the heat control switch ot a possible cable issue

Ok . moving the heat selector make a little difference . but not much. maybe a cpl degrees . moving the selector from heat, to A/c is a big difference . Heat is almost nonexistant. But A/c side blows subarctic temps

97 ram 1500 No heat . Thermostat and H core are good , Any suggestions?

It does have A/C closing the recirculation door gives a little heat . But barely enough to take the chill off . I thought of culling the back of the glovebox out . But hate to destroy it and be wrong. And I'm not skilled enough to tear the whole dash out and get it back all in proper form lol...
