Yep and the Rams just keep getting longer. I think many of the Gen 5's will be sitting outside for this reason. That is why my 2014 is a regular cab. I had to have one that fit in the garage. -

I change the oil and filter on my 2014 every 6 months or 5,000 miles or more frequently at times with PUP 5W-20 full synthetic. Always for almost every vehicle I have ever owned. You can even get some oil in horizontally mounted filters without spilling it during installation. Some oil is better than none at all.- 01Ram2500

No silicone or vinyl wrap. However I sprayed the area with S-100 Corrosion Protectant before installing the guards. I had the same MOPAR Splash Guards on m 2001 Ram for 14 years. Number one: My Access Bed Cover. Had the same exact one on my 2001 Ram 2500 for 14 years. Treated with 303 about once every 2 months. Looked new when I sold the truck. Number two: MOPAR Splash Guards. Look great and do a fabulous job of protecting the paint on the fenders.- 01Ram2500
