This is true, but I prefer for it to not get stiff and my luck seize, being my luck I’d be rolling, need 4wd coming up to a hill, click it in at 35-40mph for it to explode when the system engages. I’ve seen the aftermath of it, and no thanks, 15 minutes of my time, and $.25 worth of grease saves...- lpfm1990

They are fully disconnected in 2wd, easy way to tell, with your truck in park, reach under and rotate the driveshaft.... if it was connected you wouldn’t be able to rotate it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- lpfm1990

From what I remember of that day, it took a small needle punch and a light tap of a hammer after “washing” the area with brake clean, and then a quick squirt of pb blaster. After that it took grease with ease Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- lpfm1990

Oem “beam” style wiper blades
Yes they may all work, but for basically $10 more at the end of the day, I get 3-4x the life from an oem wiper then any aftermarket beam or conventional (most and aftermarket last me is a year, oem 3-4 years) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

That’s def the part number, when searching a 2016 3500 they don’t come up, only on a 16 2500 and 17+ all models (stupid) got a set ordered, all the local dealerships are closed, and luckily no rain (or snow) coming, worst case I have the old conventional style from my 15 in the garage I can toss... -

Battery saver mode question
Batteries are definitely on their way out, when it’s in “battery saver mode” it disables non-critical accessories (likely if it’s on before the message, it’s stuck on, my truck is a tradesmen so I didn’t have that issue lol) since getting the Napa legend agm’s I haven’t had the issue since...- lpfm1990

That’s not a new issue to the taco’s my 2012 off-road ccsb did it badly (bad enough to actually crack a leaf pack) And my 6.4 did it also in my 15 ccsb 3500, I just learned to lay in the throttle abit more coming out of the corner and it never did it much after that, but I traded that truck in...- lpfm1990

And tonight showed the batteries condition, Tuesday and Wednesday nights were warm enough (38-40) that it started and didn’t give any messages.... tonight being 17, well, gave me issues... instead of doing my normal remote start, I figured I’d walk out to the truck. They are not even investigating the fix, but how the 2x4’s weren’t recalled, in the gov’t eyes it’s “fixed”. I personally have refused to have mine welded together, with in the next year or so I’m hoping to put a small 3/1 lift kit in my truck and upgrade to the newer design or that synergy kit...- lpfm1990

Thanks for reaching out, but I’m likely going to go with Napa legend batteries. The OEM batteries are ok, but Johnson controls doesn’t give me a warm fuzzy feeling (had one explode in my whole house generator, and a couple go from working one day to dead as a door nail the next). I’m not against going for a bigger battery thou (old wet cell will work fine for me for this go around) what other sizes fit into the stock tray and blanket covering without any cutting or modding to make it fit?
