    Worth it to Repair?

    To be honest, it depends on your sentimental value to it. If you've only owned it for a few months, then I would personally sell it and buy another truck, as I can tell you right now, the cost of those repairs is another 2nd gen. Easily. However the choice is really yours to make.

    Time to buy a new trans. I lost reverse in my 2000 ram about 3 months ago and got it rebuilt. Runs great now. Rebuild will run you anywhere from $2500-$3000 Good luck.
