    Tool Box...

I was looking at the same box (and other like models) but also wanted to mount slide rails on bottom corners in order to pull the box out to the end of the tailgate when opened. Thus improving ease of access. The link below shows what I'm talking about. You can see the slides below the box with...

    Nexen tire bombs

I have a 2016 RAM 3500 Dually that I pull a 5th wheel toyhauler with and I've had the exact same problem with my Nexen tires. Luckily I purchase a tire warranty when I first bought the truck and have since had 3 tires replaced for tread separation and a 4th tire for improper wear. All tires were...

I found the truck I want 2016 RAM 3500, 4x4, DRW with the AISIN but it has the 3.42 v. 3.73. According to all the towing charts I've looked at it should have no problem pulling a 16000 lbs (20000 GCW) trailer. My buddy has a 2012 3500 with the 68RFE and the 3.73 and he pulls the same trailer no...

Thanks for info reek, but I'm in south Texas so that merry be a little far off. I'll look him up on line though and see what he has. Maybe use his pricing as a bargaining chip down here.

I'll be pulling a toy hauler (Cyclone 4114 - 16K dry/20K loaded). Special ordering the truck is 10-15K more than finding a deal on the lot. Finding a 3.73 on a lot is hard. Window stickers all note the 3.73 is the standard equip but under the options they have all switched to the 3.42. I'm...

    towing capabilities

Thank you to everyone for their input. I guess I left out an important bit of info. All the trucks I've been looking at are DRW and they are coming with the 3.42. I'm searching for 2016 RAM 3500 DRW, Crew Cab, long bed, with the Cummins. I still don't see 3.73 gears. Most dealers all have...

    towing capabilities

I'm looking at buying a new 2016 Ram 3500 to pull a 16000 lbs (dry weight) 5th wheel (20K GVWR). I noticed most of the new trucks are coming with the 3.42 rear end and the 68RFE transmission will this be enough to pull that load? I'm leaning toward the 3.42 with AISIN instead. Recommendations?
