RC Speedometer Calibrator or Full on Programmer?

I’ll give it a look as well. From my initial research alpha sounds more powerful but less user friendly. But I will spend more time looking into that as well. Like I said, I really just want to upgrade my tire sizes. But it seems crazy to spend $130+ bucks on something that can only do that...

RC Speedometer Calibrator or Full on Programmer?

I didn’t yet. Leaning toward trying out the J Scan but just haven’t had the time to research it much.

RC Speedometer Calibrator or Full on Programmer?

I recently added some beefy 325/60/20's to my Ram and was looking to buy something to update my speedometer. I think the truck will shift and run better if I do the update. My first thought was to just drop the $139.99 on the Rough Country unit...

Drivers Side Trimming exposed harness, need recommendation

Has anyone replaced one of these liners before? Hard to see before taking off the tire, but can they be completely changed from the fender well? Or do I need to access any screws from the engine bay requiring removal of parts?

Drivers Side Trimming exposed harness, need recommendation

Just snapped some more photos. I honestly don’t think the liner needed trimmed after looking at it. He did have to take some of the metal out on the inner back portion of the quarter panel, but that looks like all that needed to be done.

Drivers Side Trimming exposed harness, need recommendation

That’s good to know. The harness is something I never even noticed and it looks like it’s still exposed even with the liner in there. My buddy brought up a good point, he said he’d be more worried about throwing a rock or piece of metal up into the harness, so the liner might still be a good...

Cam you post a picture of this method? Do you actually tie the fender to the harness?

Drivers Side Trimming exposed harness, need recommendation

I’ll snap some more pictures tomorrow for you guys. I’d feel better getting another liner and trimming myself as well. I don’t want an electrical issue on my hands.

Drivers Side Trimming exposed harness, need recommendation

I ended up covering with some plastic liner and taped to the truck, then used the gorilla tape version of flex seal tape to cover everything up. I feel pretty good with it now.

Drivers Side Trimming exposed harness, need recommendation

Really aggressive install on my 2014. Bilstein 2.8 front with TGC 3/4” rear. Just had Fuel Rebel 20x10 -18mm offset wheels installed today with Fuel Gripper AT’s 325/69/20’s. The installers assured me they would fit with some minor trimming. And they did. However, checking things out after I...

Looks like Eibach has a 5100 type shock on the market

Kyle, I came from a 2011 Tacoma. Ran Billy 5100's, then the first ishock mid travel kit, then to OME. OME was my favorite. Interested in hearing your opinions on the Eibachs vs other options. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Pro comp mid runner kit

Personally I'd stay away from uniball. Had a set of uniball UCA's on my old truck and as far as performance, no issues. But you have to keep them lubed up or they will get crazy noisy. Super annoying squeaks and creeks all the time. After a while dirt finds it's way in and the squeak seems to...

Looks like Eibach has a 5100 type shock on the market

Anyone running these or know anything about them? They appear to be just like the 5100's. Can't find any reviews of these installed on a Ram so figured I'd ask here. Also saw where Eibach is offering a $50 mail in rebate on a set of 4 of these which makes them tempting, but based on what I've...

    Rear Coil Spacer Suggestions

Currently planning my upcoming level for my 2014 4x4 sport crew cab and trying to address my options for the rear. I'm likely going to add 3/4" or 1" coil spacers to the rear to match the billy's up front at 2.8. Also debating on grabbing the billy's for the rear as well. I'm concerned with...

Guide to Leveling & Wheel and Tire Sizing for 06+ 4wd Ram 1500's

Is there much difference between CV angles for 2.8 vs 2.1 with the billy's? That's one of my last deciding factors, CV wear. I know it's a given that you will increase the wear, but curious how much worse 2.8 is vs 2.1. Hopefully our trucks are magical and we don't have CV issues at 2.8 :joke:

Alright guys.. BILSTEINS post your pics!!!

Can anyone share pics of CV angles at 2.1 vs 2.8? Thanks That's one of my last deciding factors, CV wear. I know it's a given that you will increase the wear, but curious how much worse 2.8 is vs 2.1.

Need better highs for Alpine system, need suggestions

I installed the two dash corner JBL's last night and they made a huge difference. Gonna look for a set for the rear doors and see if anyone has an odd single sitting around for the center dash. Has anyone upgraded the front doors? I know they are only mids but wondering if throwing a 2 ohm mid...

Need better highs for Alpine system, need suggestions

Great feedback nouph. Thanks! JBL's look to be a very popular and well reviewed choice, I was just wondering if there were any other options to look at. However, most everything else is 4ohm impedance. Even the Infinity are advertised as true 4 ohm meaning they are 3 ohm plus the wires to = 4...

Need better highs for Alpine system, need suggestions

New owner of a 2014 sport crew cab, Alpine system with nav, I believe it's the decked out u-connect system. For a stock system it's pretty decent, and I don't want to get too involved with a full build. Lows and mids are fine, but the truck is clearly tuned in that direction. There's just no...
