    Let's see those off-road bumpers!

You have to modify your existing grille. I used a jig saw to do it but you have to cut out the plastic members going across the grill. You then use clips and nuts to attach it. They only sell the mesh. You could buy one and modify that though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Let's see those off-road bumpers!

I love "almost" stock looks, like the ARB bumper for the 2500. When I went through my tuner phase, I loved modifying my cars to look like the mods were factory-born. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They responded this morning. $298 for a pair of custom made 2" lifted springs for the ram that can bear the weight of the bumper. Not bad. A bit more than I wanted to but within my budget :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I called CJC Off-road today. They said I was in a very tight spot, and suggested I used strut spacers because coil spacers would make the ride very harsh. Ultimately though, they pointed me to coil over specialties, they make custom springs for all vehicles. So I filled out their online form...

    Let's see those off-road bumpers!

Yes I did. I've been a fan of the M1 mesh by Smittybilt. It keeps a touch of chrome that can tie into the other chrome accents of the truck. I got lazy about blacking out the chrome on the truck though those rain guards will be leaving soon. And my rear bumper has the dual exhaust cut outs :-P...

Well there's a new twist to this saga: I already had the front RC N2.0 struts installed on my truck. I cannot install Bilsteins as I do not have the 6 inch strut spacer, the bilsteins would have to reach up to the control arms without help. So I'm left with 3 solutions: look for front lift...

    Let's see those off-road bumpers!

I wasn't sure if there was a thread started but figured I'd start one. I'm interested to see what everyone is riding with. I'll start with mine. Go Rhino BR5 front and BR20 rear on a 2011. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well... confession time: I never called anyone. I kept doing some digging and decided to order the RC N2.0.... they arrived today.... I unpackaged them and gave them a good once-over. They appeared eerily similar to my existing struts. And upon closer inspection.... I apparently have the RC N2.0...

    LED headlamp bulbs

This is the test I was referring to in my earlier post. Interesting to note that even though they report GTR Lighting bulbs as being brighter than the V3, they have another video suggesting the V3s for the Ram. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    LED headlamp bulbs

I have GTR Lighting Gen 3 Ultras for Lo Beams and the Gen 2s for my fogs. I had no fitment issues on stock headlights, however on aftermarket lights I had to grind the out plastic so the heat sinks could clear. They're okay. I purchased these because of the video made by Headlight Revolution on...

    Help me decide, pods?

I have a 2011 ram with the fogs in the horizontal orientation. I found them to be incredibly bright. A vast improvement to anything else I had in there before. The fogs surpassed my headlights for width and distance illuminated. For $99, I kinda felt stupid spending $199 on the gen 3 ultras I...

I agree. I just don't know what to do that won't break the bank. I called a local shop who works with custom trucks. It's been two days and I still haven't heard back from him but he said he wanted to look into replacing the front springs as well. I tried but I can only find lift springs. I...

    Help me decide, pods?

OP, I understand your situation. Living in NYS, and traveling through hilly retired farming territory, we have an gargantuan deer population. I'd see deer daily on my night time drives from work. The best thing I ever did was buy a set of GTR Lighting Gen 2 LEDs for my fogs. They shine brighter...

4in zone vs 4in rough country

Sounds like it! here in the States, the 2500s have a taller ride height which appears to me to be about 6" higher than the 1500. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

4in zone vs 4in rough country

Ha my truck originated in Canada before it wound up in Miami, FL where I purchase it and drove it to my home in Port Jervis, NY. I'm not well versed in Canadian law. What about the lifts could make them illegal? Budget is always an issue, but if it's possible for you to wait and save up more...

I agree! I browsed all over before settling on these. Except for ADD, nobody else made off-road bumpers that piqued my interest for the 2009 to 2011 ram 1500s. None looked as nice as the Go Rhinos. There were a few that came close, but they were 300#+ pre-winch and upwards of $2,000. I took a...

4in zone vs 4in rough country

Just my 2 cents. I have a rough country 6" lift. Love it. Had a shop install it at a cost of $600. No complaints. Currently have stock struts and springs up front and RC 2.2 perfs and springs for the rear. I cannot complain about the ride quality. It all feels normal, even after I added my Go...

    Get my lift back

Unfortunately, upgrading the front end suspension was an unforeseen expense I am having difficulty compensating for. That said, the RC struts are more expensive than the bilstein 5100s. I'm leaning towards them at the moment because they are advertised to be made specifically for trucks lifted 6...

They're the Go Rhino BR5 front and BR10 rear. I really like how they look too. They're actually 2013+ set and my truck is a 2011 :-] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
