    I would't be using tow mode all the time with that amount of weight. Tow mode does not allow you to go into ECO mode.

    I would stay with what I have...you need to look a little harder to come up with the money to pay for your current truck. $70 -$100 is not that much. The express probably gets better gas mileage..I average 16MPG with my Rebel. You drive a lot so fuel is something to consider..

    I believe that if the problem turns out to be drive train related and your truck is still under the original factory warranty, there will be no labor charges incurred.
