If your budget allows it, get one with the 8 speed. You wont regret it. Its a fantastic transmission for many reasons including super smooth shifting, reliable as hell, built strong, and fuel savings although minimal.
Outsourcing to the zf 8 speed was the best decision dodge has made. Not only do you get power anywhere, but fuel savings are there and its so damn smooth shifting. Not to mention strong as heck. All I needed was my carven competitors and it is plenty fast and fun for a truck.
I've said this about mine. They tried replacing simple bolt off pieces to fix my heated seats issues and they have no idea why it isn't working. When I suggested that they try shooting the wires they looked at me like I was speaking Mandarin.
So I'm not sure if I should try to get a 2019 Ram Limited. I love the looks of my 2018 Ram Rebel, I got the exact color (blue streak) and all the options I wanted minus the sunroof. Gotta say I love the panoramic in the new ones but I'm just not sure about the exterior styling or getting a first...
Yeah Ram will pay the attourny fee's and if we lose I don't pay dime. Only way I'm liable for anything is if I get offered a deal and turn it down. So I should be covered. I thought it was Missouri law since that's where I'm stationed but since I registered back home in Illinois (garbage state)...
Yeah when I saw that it takes 4 attempts OR 30 days down OR reasonable amount of time to fix and not just all 3 together per issue, I knew these issues qualified no matter what and my case was solid. All 3 of my issues above qualify for lemon law so I'm hoping for a respectful offer at the least...
I've seen that thread. Mine doesn't come on whatsoever. And I thought the same as you but the lawyer didn't have a doubt in his mind we would win this considering the extensive amount of times its been in the shop for not just these issues but about a dozen more including my AC going out...
Yeah which is why I've always been polite which they have mentioned many times I have more patience than them so I figured they could get it done in a reasonable amount of time. I'm an aircraft mechanic so I understand sometimes shit isn't easy but after that winter comment that was the straw...
So most of you probably saw my "Rebel or Raptor" thread in this section. After lots of consideration, I decided to stick it out with my Rebel for now. Both look cool in their own ways but the Rebel has so many more luxuries and the interior is 10x better than the raptor.
However, my truck...
Mine is easily work aroundable as well by just pausing it for two seconds and hitting play again. However it will come back after a song or two.
As for the raptor, I've been deep in the forums over the last couple of weeks and the frame issue is mostly myth. Of course they are still breakable...
Did they feel unstable or move around when stepped on? I can agree about mounting on the frame but I'm not aware of anything that does without spending more than 500
Hey guys I was looking at a raptor and I fell in love with the look and function of these running boards
I was wondering if yall have seen anything on the market similar to these that would fit my 2018 Ram Rebel
Thanks
Well I had my gf ride with me and she stuffed a shirt in the corner and the whistle went away so I'm fairly positive it's a sealing issue with the windshield
Thank you gentleman on all the help and support
I do have a small update, the windshield isn't fixed. They said they resealed it to see if that would work but I took it out for a drive today and it was whistling still.
Honestly I haven't tested them since winter but if I remember correctly they would turn down to low after a short time (approx. 5 min) so after reading this thread sounds like I have more than just a heat issue as well
I believe this is talking about me. They have replaced a couple things on mine cause neither of my seats get anywhere near warm and they cut off quickly too as some guys are saying in here. So far the dealer has replaced the elements inside the seat and the module that controls them. Still no...
UPDATE,
Picked up my Rebel yesterday.
Here's a real kicker, they replaced the little control cluster on the right side of the steering wheel hoping to fix my cruise control issue. However they used the wrong part so now my gear+ and gear- buttons are just blank fillers. So if my cruise control...
Mine was also right front. They resealed it. I couldn't tell if it still was whistling when I picked up the truck yesterday cause it was raining super heavy. If its under warranty just bring it to them and inform them and it should get taken care of
Agreed. Another big reason I went RAM. My dad had a 2016 Sierra, the highest trim besides denali, and that was pretty nice but what bothered me with it was the fact that you pay more for the GMC name and "luxury" but it doesn't look any different at all from its chevy counter part. They just...
Nice! I woudlnt mind owning a fox body but I would have to change a lot on it to make it pleasing for me personally. Sounds a like a bad ass ride though.
Thanks man, driving the Raptor today and tomorrow. Only had a 10 min ride so far but I gotta say, this things interior feels like I went from...
Lol Yeaaahhh she's a special one... and that's my flaw. I use as much logic as I can in everything. I feel too much guilt for making splurge purchases. And now I feel loyalty to both Rebel and Raptor. My dad bought a nice Rebel too right after I bought mine and I enjoy having similar trucks...
Yeah no matter what truck I get I want the Crew cab. Luckily this Raptor is the Super Crew so it's every bit as big as my rebel. Your brother likely has the Super cab
