Side step recommendations
I have the Ionic 5" ovals in SS. They do extend out a bit past the tires and hang down about 5" maybe more or less this by my eyeballin it. Quality is top notch and was easy to install once you figure out the instructions. Seem very sturdy for my 325 lb wt. no flex at all. -

Fitted Floor Mats?
I had the WeatherTechs in my 06 and while they fit well in the front the back mats never flattened out. As others have said they are thin, but do work.
