Two batteries?!?
Thanks for the helpful (and one smart-ass NOT helpful) responses! Was a bad battery. Wouldn't jump start because of a clear coating that had been applied to the terminals. Learn something every day!- Gorgerax

Two batteries?!?
No, I am not sure if its a battery or not but there is a red (positive) cable leading into it. Also, I cannot understand why I can't get it to jump-start using my hand-held power bank nor my regular battery charger/Engine starter?!- Gorgerax

Two batteries?!?
Hello! I recently purchased a 2010 RAM 1500 w/5.7 gasser. Yesterday she wouldn't start. Dead battery (?) Went to jump start it this morning and found what appear to be two batteries!?! ANyone know anything about this? Also, I tried jump starting with no luck and even left it in the charger...- Gorgerax

Almost ran out of gas last night
Well, I'm glad I found this thread! Just bought a 2010 Ram SLT 1500 w/3.92 gears. Have filled it twice now when the gauge was on empty yet only took 20 gallons each time even though I have a 26-gallon tank! I guess I had SIX gallons left?!? Is this normal?- Gorgerax

As I mentioned, these were public scales but NOT CAT scales so the weighing/re=weighing process was different...I just did what the operator told me to, he then manually crunched some numbers and gave me what I posted. I agree, something is off but not too worried about it at this point...- Gorgerax

OK. I loaded the TT up and headed to the scales. NOT CAT scales but the weighmaster was a really nice guy, RV-er who said he knew what I wanted and walked me through the (different) weighing process and then crunched the numbers for me; here's where I'm at... MAX Ratings...- Gorgerax

FWIW, Etrailer finally did say there were no softer bars I could swap out but I have a call into Curt. The bolts are Grade 5, according to the markings on the bolt head. I re-adjusted the WDH to where the before and after measurements at the TV front bumper and TT couple height are exactly the...- Gorgerax

Is OEM Brake controller $400 better?!?
Hey everyone! I hear I could get the factory/OEM brake controller installed for my 2010 1500 at the dealer for $440-$500...@ $350 if I DIY. But I can also install an inexpensive CURT controller and hook it up to the factory wiring harness for around $50! I'm currently pulling a little 22...- Gorgerax

2017 Longhorn 5.7 and 3.92 rear end towing.
Is that $500 for the OEM brake controller? I just got a 2010 that does NOT have factory brake controls but It is wired for one. I've seen posts here where guys buy the parts (@ $200) and install it themselves. Apparently, there is then a need to have the dealer "flash" something so that it...- Gorgerax
