2014 power wagon tradesman delivered may 2015. Paid 38,700-msrp 46,500. 3500 in rebates (some commercial) 12 weeks from order to delivery...not because of special paint. There was some issue with lack of delivery personnel. And it was held an extra week because of factory bed liner
I've had something similar happen before in my 2014 power wagon. Has actually happened multiple times but now I expect it and kind of ignore it. If I'm slowing the truck on the brakes lightly and then let off and suddenly reapply hard, there is very little braking power. It was looked at a few...
Does anyone have the part number for drivers side lower vinyl seat cover? I've looked extensively in the parts catalog but only seem to find the cloth version. Thanks!
Good point. When this happened with mine the dealership recommended not having a huge heavy key ring full of keys hanging off of it all the time. Of course it should be designed so you don't have to worry about that.....
I had this problem for a long time...probably from about 30k miles until 80k. Every once in a while I'd turn the key to start (no fob) and nothing would happen. Try again and it would usually start the first try or at least always the second. One very cold night it just wouldn't start at all, no...
Once I get the truck back from new cam and lifters I'll be taking the valve body out. Going to renew seals on pistons and new solenoid pack, on recommendation from my trans guy
I have an annoying issue. When slowing with someone taking a turn in front of me I get a shuttle shift between first and second gear at a certain speed. Basically a very quick back and forth between the two gears. Its done it since new. The dealer has tried reprogramming twice and hasn't helped...
How about the new RA2N used in the new Van's? Could these be compatible at all? I haven't been able to find a picture of the mounts. Would be a nice upgrade instead of going to 8.4
I know there's a lot of information on this subject already, but I cant seem to find an answer to a question. I could swear I'd read that the 8.4 from a Chrysler 200 would fit our trucks, just need to model lower screws holes and bracket. Have any of you done this or heard of it? Thanks
Sorry if this is the wrong place for this. I've read somewhere that a Chrysler 200 8.4 can be used in a Ram with either the bracket from the 200 or modding the lower screw hole locations on the 200 radio. Has anyone done this? The used 200 RA4 is significantly cheaper in this area. Looking at...
It was reprogrammed once for this a couple years ago but mad no difference. Definitely not the torque converter, it's a shuttle shift between first and second on mine
I qualify, that level of consumption was only during heavy use towing etc. If it was just used for daily driving usually I only added say a half quart between changes (5000 miles or a little less)
Now you've heard of one. Lost a lifter around 100000 miles and it trashed the cam. At the dealership now to see if ram will good will the warranty. I do don't have high hopes that they will help after talking to them. Dealer says parts are on backorder because of the issue
My truck does this also and of course never able to replicate at the dealership. Tranny shop believes it's a valve body issue and recommends new piston seals and solenoid module. Mine feels like it shifts rapidly between first and second gear and I have to let off or get on it harder to make it stop
Hey everyone. My 2014 power wagon just suffered number one lifter failure at 104000 miles and took out the cam. Is it possible to use the stock 6.4 cam if I delete MDS lifters? I've read conflicting info on needing a non MDS cam
