    2011 into 2017 headlight

There are 3 distinct different headlight in the 4th gens. What did you have and what do you want to go to? I assume you have gone from either a dual beam or a quad beam to the projectors? If that’s the case you need and adaptor harness which is easily obtained from Jeremy at Retro shop, a...

    Lets talk rotors..

Once upon a time I worked for one of the minor cross drilled/ spotted rotor companies. OP is correct at least in my experience that all the blanks start out the same. Brembo was the preferred brand but anything could be drilled or slotted. When I replace my own breaks they get neither...

    Led High Beam

I put a set of V4 equivalent bulbs (lots of sources for half what HR wants) in both the low and high quad reflectors. It’s pretty easy to get extra clearance Under the high beam dust cap using a heat gun to warm the plastic and press it over something, I used a 2 inch trailer ball and huge...

    Morimoto headlights

Tagged for interest Coming out of a 2012 with a quad D2s these have my interest for sure but it all hinges on the output. My new EcoD needs more light but lessons learned from my previous experience with Morimoro Hid’s has me learly.

    |Quaded quads V2.0

Getting the X in there is actually easy! They fit the bowls perfectly and only need a bit of cutting for the top inside mounting ear in the reflector. I could have ground off the ear instead but the amount that needed to get taken out of the bowl is so little. The shrods though need to be cut...

    |Quaded quads V2.0

Thanks. The 3.0 x lense is the square one with the o being round. If you are just using one set go for the round lense. The square version bows the light down at the outer edges a bit costing some width to the beam. Either version is a bunch better than the MH1's though and fit in the upper...

    |Quaded quads V2.0

All I have rite now to take pics with is an iPhone 4 but this should convey the general idea of how the lows look. It's too bad the camera looses so much of the fringe I would say that the light is 5 to 6 lanes wide! On the highs with all 4 projectors lit I can see farther down the road...

    |Quaded quads V2.0

So like everyone else i thought the output of the stock quad light was an accident waiting to happen and set out to fix this glaring issue. My first attempt was the standard MH1's and Matchbox projectors. the MH1's went in at 55w and the matchboxes at 35w, both at 5K. These worked a lot...

    Retrofitted Headlights Ordered!!!!!

I have a the same quad set up on my Ram, parts supplied by J.J and did the wok my self. There are pros and cons to this set up that I didn't expect. The biggest pro is of course the light output! In high beam mode all four projectors are lit and the cutoff's drop making for lots of light...

Gonna get the JJ Special soon, couple questions first though

I had JJ supply all the pieces and built mine myself but really after it was all done it did not save me anything and was a lot of work. I do like doing thing for my self though. Im working on my fogs now!

Gonna get the JJ Special soon, couple questions first though

If JJ is building them then he will take care of things, not to worry. If you build them yourself then they make life simple.

Gonna get the JJ Special soon, couple questions first though

its a Y plug that goes betweent he factory wiring inside the headlight and the bulb on the HI beam side so that all you have to do to power the cut offs in the projectors is plug them into that. They make the whole thing plug and play, no hacking into the wiring.

Gonna get the JJ Special soon, couple questions first though

Your list looks good, just need to add the beam splitters to help wiring the cutoffs. Aside from what has already been said the LED's wire straight to 12v with no need for anything else like some of the CCFL's do. I opted for a set from JJ and I dont find them spotty at all either but they...

    Retro complete

The reflectors got painted flat black then cleared over to lessen the dull look. Then the bezels got painted body color. The camera makes things look darker than they are.

    Retro complete

Actually by the time it was all said and done I didn't save much really. All the running around sourcing the various bits and pieces adds up. What I did get was the satisfaction of doing it all myself, with JJ's guidance ofcourse. So far I have been able to use them in heavy snow and fog...

    Retro'd Headlights

Here are mine. Not Red but you get the idea. H1 mini projectors as the mains with LED halos and matchbox projectors in the high beam position. The light output is great in the low beam mode and redulous in hi beam.

No, no thank you, were it not for your support and tips these would still be a box of parts in my work shop. Next on the list is to projector the fogs......there is no such thing as overkill...

    Retro complete

Nothing from the drivers seat but they are great in low beam and spectacular in high beam mode So far they have already saved me from one crash with a swamp donkey doe so it's time and dollars well spent! Details for those interested, both are 5k HID's, main projector's are 55w and the...

So like the rest of you I feel that the stock lights on our Rams suck. Enter our own JJ to solve the problem and add a Ram owner that likes things over the top when it comes to lighting and you get a quad projector HID setup. I need to give a public thanks to JJ. He has been great...
