    Retro new tailgate?

    According to pickuptrucks.com the mounting hardware adds 75 extra pounds to the tailgate. This would be weight at the rear-most point, almost acting like trailer tongue weight. It looks like it could be handy, but that much extra weight located in that position is troubling.

    I did a quick search for PML diff covers on Amazon and they were all $250-$300. The PML web site lists them $200 for cast finish, $250 for powdercoat, and $325 for polished aluminum. Did you find them somewhere for a lot less?
