I had a 2020 5th Gen 1500. Initially it did not display the song info in the cluster. I received one uConnect update while I owned it. It was after that update that it started showing the song details n the cluster.
I now have a 2021 3500 but keep forgetting to check this. I like having all...
You can turn off the diagnostic for most of the lighting. Just search for diagnostic in AlfaODB and find front left and front right.
Turning this off means the vehicle will not tell you when a bulb is out. It also allows you to use LEDs in halogen locations without fast blinking on the...
I bought nothing but Ford products from 1991 through 2017. In 2018 I decided I had enough of Ford. Three vehicles in a row were very problematic. The 2015 F150 ecoboost blew the engine at 23k and they had to install a new long block. The 2013 Escape had paint pealing and fit finish issues...
I am not going to get into a debate about which truck does what better. Does the F150 have higher payload ratings than a RAM 1500? Slightly. But if payload is your primary concern you would be looking at a 3/4 ton or higher honestly. So, that may be a deciding factor for a few on the 1/2 ton...
As someone who's has owned a 2015 F150, 2017 F150, 2018 RAM 1500 and now a 2020 RAM 1500 I have to disagree on a couple things here.
The late model F150s have horrible halogen headlight output. Dangerous even. The LED prior to 2018 were pretty bad as well. My 2018 RAM was a Laramie so it had...
I have the bar type and have never had to unhook them at all to backup. Sounds like it is mostly a myth for either case and likely a rare set of conditions.

If you research the differences, many articles state that the chain type is more likely to bind when backing into a spot. I think it is a case of "your mileage may vary" but the general consensus is that the torsion bar systems are worth the extra expense.
Here is a video I found when making...
I would never recommend a WDH that uses chains. You will have to disconnect the chains when backing up. Also, torsion bar systems provide some sway control because of how they work.

This is not correct. On the OEM projector there is a separate bulb for the high beam. It is located exactly where the OP has indicated. At least that is the case on my 2018 Laramie.

I only have them in the low beams. I also have a Laramie with projectors. I did have to heat the back covers to reform them a bit to clear the headlights. They also make deeper back covers but I don't have a link for those. I used a heat gun and a door knob to make the area where the headlights...
What I am saying is that the weight on the bars helps reduce sway, in addition to any other sway control. This is one of the reasons the WDH with torsion bars are better than the ones with chains.

A good weight distribution Hitch also provides some level of sway control. At least the bar type you mentioned do. I wouldn't tow anything like a TT without it.

This is a crossover. You would use this if you were trying to add the tweeters to a full range speaker set. Since you are replacing existing tweeters, I doubt you will need it. But, it will filter out any frequencies not supported by the tweeters you are installing.
