Super Charging 2500 6.4L
You can disable DTC's with HP Tuners (far better then Diablo IMO). They both work with pros and cons for each.- NDanecker

2021 Ram 3500 Megacab DRW Night Edition
Yea, I had a 13 and 14 Ram 3500 DRW Cummins. Both were great. Just got bit by the supercharged hemi bug for a few years. Traded 14 Ram for a 18 Trackhawk and then 19 Ram 1500 knowing I was going to build that SC 7.0. I plan to sell the project truck, or at least try. Not going to give it...- NDanecker

2020 2500 6.4/ 3.73 Gas Mileage!
The only reason I worry about fuel mileage is to ensure I can make it to the next gas station. Its about the experience and ride getting there. There are so many variables between trucks and driving style its comical when people get all triggered if the guy next to them get 0.5 mpg better...- NDanecker

I wouldn't go with any sort of centrifugal SC. I'd stay with roots or screw type (positive displacement). Unless you are tracking it and keeping the motor in high rpms a positive displacement SC will make more power down low which is what heavy trucks like. Power is more linear instead of...- NDanecker

ARH Headers question???
My motor is a 7.0 / 426. It's a 6.4 block with a stroker crank. My heads are aftermarket of course but still worked with 5.7 headers that I had on my first motor build (stroked 5.7) and stock heads. I think the corsa exhaust not working with the 6.4 is due to length, hanger and tailpipe...- NDanecker

NN (neural network) is OK with sensing small changes but my guess you won't see any meaningful gain with just headers. If anything you may even lose power down low and not gain anything on top especially with the poor stock cam profile. Without cats you will def get 02 sensor not ready DLC...- NDanecker

Truck randomly won't start or shuts off while driving
I have a 2019. Had same exact issue for months and couldn't determine the root cause. Almost got wacked by an semi that wouldn't let me get over as I'm coasting to a stop. Agree 100%. The child inside me says the TRX is dope but from a usefulness perspective I'd prefer a street truck (TR version that is lowered for the street). Made just under 600 wheel on Mustang Dyno but running out of fuel now that we have the larger injectors. Fuel pressure drop even with boost-a-pump is not enough to keep up so we ordered a new Walbro in-tank pump. Kind of knew this would be a limitation at some point but hoped we'd get by...- NDanecker

23/26 to 33 gallon gas tank
Haven't done the upgrade but just want to note the PCM will also need to be updated to know it has a 33 gallon tank. I'm sure the dealer can do this (or HPTuners if you unlock the PCM). -
What's the difference?
Custom tune. I heard the Pentastar motors do nicely if tuned properly but you need someone that is familiar with them to get good results. Has anyone added a gauge pod (single, dual or more) to their 5th gen Ram? Looking for a single pod to sit between grab handle and dash cluster that sits on the dash or if I must replace the grab handle with a gauge pod cluster. What mfg have you used? Pics if you can. -

GVWR is not as important as GAWR (front and rear) which take into account axle and tire capacities. GVWR is set to meet certain targets and usually much < front + rear capacity. Finally got on the dyno for some tuning and of course another setback. Injectors are running near 85% just over 5k rpms so new injectors are ordered. Original build was the stroked 5.7 so we used Redeye injectors which would be fine...until we went with the 426 build. Good news is we made...- NDanecker
