    Well, it took me 2 weeks to test 87 and 89 from empty to full. I used the lie o meter for rough guess. I get better gas mileage using 89 with same mileage I did back and forth to work and home only. I gained about 1.5 mpg by using 89.

    I'll drive it a few days and see if I notice any difference going back and forth to work. Towing, definitely I'll use 89.

    I filled up using both gasoline from Shell fuel. I ran 87 and 89. I dont know if it's me but truck seem to like 89 better. What is recommended gasoline for these 6.4? Mines a 2018, by the way.

    I tried it in tow/haul mode and manual select gears but left it on 6, truck is a completely different truck.

    I run 60 psi all around unloaded. I may try 50/55.

    Anyone here have the lugging issues going up the hill? I live on a hill which takes about a mile to get up to and between 15 to 25 mph limit going up. It lugs bad and sometimes wont down shift for the life of me. I bought the truck used, 2018 2500 6.4. It's going back to the dealer to have it...

    I do. I checked it while it was in neutral and it was reading cold level while at 165 to 170 degrees. So, it only took half a quart to bring it to where it supposed to be hot. Then again today after a drive, I checked again, its reading at hot level. Also, when I check it, I always take a sniff...

    I have a video made to show what it's doing going up the hill. Its lugs bad. I'm starting to think its computer related. This site wont let me upload the video. At least I'll have it to show the dealer when I go in.

    Bilstein shocks all around, 4600 series.

    My 6.4 2500 is stock and staying stock as far as suspension goes. Anyone have any experience with bilstein 4600s, yellow/blue color, not the silver tier. Does it make the ride stiffer or slightly softer? I think power wagon uses 4600?

    So, I checked it as soon as I arrived to work on a level ground in neutral, its showing me a little bit below the hot dotted line. I'm going to grab one quart from ram dealer just for piece of mind and fill her up some.

    Shoot, I forgot all about the neutral. I checked it in park. Ill check it again tomorrow when I drive it to work. I was spoiled with the 8 speed trans in my 17 1500. Lol

    The trans temp was around maybe 160 to 175. I just checked it again as it been sitting for a hour. It reads hot. But truck not running.

    I have a appointment sept the 5th. Should I carefully drive until then or should i grab qt or two tomorrow? Ram dealer is not even a mile from my work but that not where i bought my truck but part wise, i can grab anything there.

    Thanks, I'll look into it. I just like the idea of amsoil is local and I can go pick it up anytime I need it.
