Recommendation on front winch
Good question! I will be doing the same soon. Looking for a hidden receiver hitch to hide behind the bumper and have the receiver tube protruding through the bumper opening of my 2005 SLT. I'm thinking I may just fabricate my own. Then I will add a winch on a removable winch cradle so I can use...- xdmshawn

I have power locks, how to make it a keyless entry
Donny - Did you get this figured out? I doubt that your truck was sent out from the factory with power locks without a wireless entry fob. It was likely lost. You could buy a fob off of eBay and then follow these instructions below. All you have to loose is the cost of the fob if it doesn't...- xdmshawn

What did you do to your Gen3 today?
Changed the oil to Redline 5w30 and the filter to a WIX XP filter. Sent off an oil sample to Blackstone Labs for analysis.- xdmshawn

AC low flow only on long trips
Same problem here. My air is nice and cold, however, very little air volume flows out of the vents. Coolant is good. The fan speed sounds loud like it's working correctly. Just very low air flow overall regardless of how long the truck has been running. When it's hot out, I feel the heat... -

What is pump sound from dash when key is turned on?
My 2005 1500 5.7 does the same thing. I determined it must be the 6 disc changer in my stereo that is attempting to queue up a CD when o first turn on the key. -
