Since I went from the PX3 to the PX6 they were new orders. But an exchange could be better than a new order if it ships from the US Phoenix office. Might have been inspected more thoroughly prior to sending the exchange. Either way you are taking a chance on a new company or an exchange from...
I returned my 7.1 fastboot version to Phoenix within the first 30 days... then ordered a PX6 from them... then returned the PX6 within the first 30 days. Lol

Are you even able to upgrade yours? If I remember a few months ago you determined your head unit wasn't a true 7.1. A firmware upgrade on yours would be risky right?
I found the answer in Joying's forums. You can only have a backup camera and their own DVR camera that connects through USB.

I ended up with a Joying 10.1 Head Unit. I started a thread on it incase others were looking for info on them plus I like this thread and the support I got from it so I wanted to help as well.

Even though I returned my last T-style head unit I still like to follow and read this thread. I have to say after months of installing, uninstalling, and troubleshooting these head units I am happy to finally have a head unit that just works. No mine is not as integrated as the T-style and it...
Wow! That is the nail in Carsoll's coffin. No way would I go with them after having the issues I had with these Radios.
Sorry to hear about your issues. I was hoping someone would get lucky with the new PX6 units.

I tried three different launchers on my T-style units and I liked CarWebGuru the best. I even purchased a few of their add themes. Keep in mind only the vertical themes will work from CarWebGuru and are indicated by a 'V' on the theme.
I don't believe there is a quicker way then usb to load...
Yes that was the case on all three units I owned. The rst(Reset) button is different then rebooting. Reset would clear all my radio station presets too. I would only use the reset button when the unit locks up or having display issues and when you first receive the unit to make sure the buttons...
Carsoll lists two versions of the PX6 on thier site. Which one did you get? The one button or three button.
Their site looks very polished but didn't see an office location listed. Do they have a US or Canada office?

Nobody has ordered a PX6 unit from Rhino yet. You could be the first! Or at least the first on this thread. [emoji106]

I have updated the original post to include the specific model number I have that begins with 'USA' as it is in and out of stock all the time on Amazon. You can read the note under the head unit listing to see the difference between the two versions offered. I have also added a note under the...
That is a very interesting question. I too wonder if the dials would work on an aftermarket radio. I did notice there are different mounting kits for the touchscreen radios that come with a completely new bezel. Seems a bit overkill. I think if someone wasn't worried about the look with the...
I don't see why not. The head unit is actually cheaper but you only get 2GB RAM/32GB ROM in the single din 10.1 units available on Amazon. You also lose the built in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. They replaced it with a screen mirroring app in this version. Plus the quick buttons on the side...
Reputable is a matter of opinion and personal experience with each of the companies. Everyone here will most likely give you a different answer.
Below are the companies mentioned in this thread the most.
Linkswell T-Style radio - They are available on Amazon but are the most expensive...
Thank you sir! Just paying it forward ;). The screen can be adjusted up and down but you have to unmount the head unit to get to the screws. It is not adjustable side to side. I original looked for one that was adjustable, like the Eonon, but was worried about the durability. Plus the unit will...
Ok guys since there seems to be interest in the Joying head unit as an alternative to the Tesla style radios I started a new thread. I didn't want to derail this thread any further.

The only other brand I tried prior to the Joying was an Eonon 10.1 Double Din Car Stereo. I would advise against this brand as their screens are not good quality.
Eonon 10.1 unit screen peels off and no it's not a factory installed screen protector. lol
Additional Install Pictures:
Factory mounting bracket that will need to be cut in order to fit double din unit.
Joying head unit installed with Metra mounting kit before attaching screen.
Note: Be careful not to install the face of the mounting kit upside down or the head unit will be mounted...

The exact one I ordered isn't available on Amazon right now but you can get the slightly more expensive one with the 1280x720 screen. Or you can order from Joying website.
