Rear Spacer W/ Airlift 1000HD Bags?

I have considered the 4” SST RL as a possibility and they said the bags wouldn’t work with the rear spacer of the kit, so just trying to verify for other spacers. TY!!!

Alright guys.. BILSTEINS post your pics!!!

For those that use the jeep spacer, any issues with it working with Airlift 1000HD bags too? I haven’t searched yet, but is there a 1.5” jeep spacer? Just searched and found a 1.75” spacer. Will this work too...

Rear Spacer W/ Airlift 1000HD Bags?

What rear spacer (~1.5”) will work with the Airlift 1000HD bags? Planning on going with the Bils 5100 up front, set at either 2” or 2.8”, and a 1.5” rear spacer with new rear shocks, Bils 0-2”.... ‘18 CCSB 4wd. TY!!!

4" Superlift and new wheels installed

TY!!! I know posts can sneak by sometimes!!! :) Wheel center (or ground) to the wheel well center would be awesome!!! Whenever time allows for the pics. And if you could, maybe some pics of the rear suspension. Maybe we could tell what all was changed. I’ll reach out to Nick, and maybe SL as...

4" Superlift and new wheels installed

@Nado, Not sure if maybe you missed my above post with a few questions. SL is now leading since they are running a sale on the lifts. TY!!! Nick@gotexhaust, Do you happen to know if both the 4 link and track bar brackets are included with the SL 4” lift? I will pm you for some prices once...

4" Superlift and new wheels installed

Looks great!!! Did you do the install? If so, how was it? Did you get the 4”, or 6” and leave the spacer out? I know it has been mentioned the 4” doesn’t include the rear suspension brackets now, but the website description still states they are included. If a 4”, did you receive the 4 link...

Rear Spacers Question- Steel, Al, Poly, etc???

Honestly, I haven’t decided 100% yet.... If I do add a spacer it will probably end up being a poly spacer, either 1.5” or 2”. BUT, I am seriously looking at a true 4” suspension lift also.... Just having a hard time deciding between the two.

    Pro Comp 4" lift installed

Looks good!!! Question though: I have looked at pro comp’s website and I am only seeing a 6” lift for our ‘18 1500. Any idea where the 4” lift is? Or is it a case of not installing a spacer in the front? I can’t download the installation instructions to check them out. TY!!!

    SuperLift 4" Kit

Keep us posted on which lift you go with. Part of me wants to contact SL and ask about if the 4” includes the rear brackets or not based on what the webpage for the 4” states... But am afraid it may have changed and cause them to update the webpage... lol

unconfuse me on max tongue weight and towing weight

Gotcha. The only reason I mentioned 150lbs is that is the standard weight that is used when setting the tow ratings per the newer sae standard. As I mentioned in my HD owners manual, it states to subtract the total weight of the driver and any occupants from the stated payload on the yellow...

    Thinking about a 4" lift

TY!!! One thing I would like if we do go with a 4” lift vs level/rear spacers is the brackets to make sure the rear suspension is correct. It seems some 4” lifts do not include these parts. If I had to decide today, it would be either the zone or superlift.

Which 4” lift are you looking at? TY!

unconfuse me on max tongue weight and towing weight

Csuder99, Are you sure the weight of the standardized driver is actually already accounted for in the yellow payload sticker? I ask because everything I have read, including our trucks owners manuals state the driver is part of the allowable load weight a truck can carry. I know the manual...

    SuperLift 4" Kit

@Nado, TY for the reply. Makes sense on why you’re leaning toward the superlift. I have been looking at all the different lifts available, and feel like my head is spinning!!! Lol Especially while trying to compare them to just going with the Bils @2.8, new uca, and a rear 1.5-3” spacer. So...

unconfuse me on max tongue weight and towing weight

What does the yellow payload sticker state for your trucks payload? That amount should not be exceeded by the total weight of: all occupants, any cargo, any additional accessories added after the truck left the factory, the 5r hitch, and the 5r’s loaded pin weight.

    One Year Check In

@PolarisCobra, I completely understand the driving to find snow!!! We live east of Lansing, so it’s usually at least 2.5-3hrs to find rideable snow. Most of my riding is in Northern Ontario, the general Sault Ste Marie area. We have made it to WaWa once so far. I rode ~300 miles in Michigan...

2011 loaded Sport 45k miles for $22k - yes or no?

We were just recently shopping for a new to us truck. From what I found the cam/lifted issue started to show around 100k miles. As for being a Canadian truck, I would pass based on just that. They are usually rusted up pretty bad underneath. Obviously there are exceptions, but even a ‘17...

    SuperLift 4" Kit

Looks good!!! That pic is just with the bils at 2.1 before you did a lift, correct? I have considered the bils 2.8, uca, and rear 1.5-2” spacer as well. But it seems a 4” just looks that much better!!! Lol I like the 285 (maybe 295 depending on the tire) route since it is slightly narrower than...

    SuperLift 4" Kit

TY!!! I like the idea of the rear brackets being included vs the 4”, but we only have 5.5” for the truck to still fit in the garage. So thinking a 4” lift (6” w/o the spacer) and a set of 285/65/20s should end up ~5” total..... Now to get the motivation to work some o/t!!!

    One Year Check In

Congrats from a fellow sled head!!! Truck looks great!!! Once camping and boating season winds down here in Michigan, I’ll be looking forward to another great sled season. What tires are you considering? I was pretty happy with the Cooper A/T3s (original version) on our last truck (‘10...

    SuperLift 4" Kit

Nado, Besides the bilsteins, what made you decide on the superlift vs the others? I don’t see us actually taking the truck off road, but at times it feels like some Michigan roads may actually be worse than doing so... lol I am currently trying to decide what route to go for our ‘18 4wd, and...

Icon is looking for 17/18 RAMs 4wd

I would seriously consider jumping all over it, but I figure to ship the truck there would probably be a large chunk of the savings. And vacay time is pretty much gone for the year. Between snowmobiling, spring break, and camping, time goes way to quick!!! That is IF they are still looking for...

Weight distribution system required for tiny camper around 2900 LB?

I’m very familiar with a wdh and how they work, plus the benefits of using a wdh vs not using a wdh. Actually our ‘13 HD does not need a wdh up to the max tw rating of 1500lbs. Even though it’s not required, I do run a Reese Dual Cam when towing our ‘16 Jayco 32 BHDS which has a loaded tw of...
