Dodge ignition
for info, the battery in the fob have nothing to do with the ignition, it's in there only for the lock/unlock/panic button. you can remove the battery and the truck will still start when you turn the key. it might help to get more info. what's happening, nothing when you turn the key, it crank...- marc cormier

ESC fully off, or only partially.
i never found that info for my ram but for my previous 2015 wrangler and even a few years back on my 2006 charger there was a wire in the center console that if cut (even only for 1 second) will fully desactivate all protection, abs/esp... just cut it with a switch and flip it when needed. it...- marc cormier

you should try to disconnect the battery for a few minute, with all the electronic you'll be surprised how many trouble it can solved.- marc cormier

center console swap
you don't need the ac adapter, the the dash trim (the gray part) is the only part you need. all the other part like the radio bezel and the ac control are screwed from behind, you remove it from the old one and reinstall it on the new one- marc cormier

Looking at a ram 2017-2019 v6 towing experience
you guy's are talking about electric brake controler but most (if not all) boat trailer have hydraulic brake, electric parts do not mix very well with water. but i agree that he will need 3.55 axle gear.- marc cormier

my brother and my best friend both have a ram 1500 with the hemi, i am happy with what i got but they are always laughing at me. 2 weeks back my brother decided to remove a few cedar three, guess what, we used my v6 to pull all the stomp because theirs hemi were spining the wheels too easilly...- marc cormier

Looking for cold air intake for v6
it's probably just that the fitment on the 2020 havent been confirmed but they are the same, it most likely will fit (i can't confirm for sure since i didn't do the test) it happoened a few times while reseaechinh some parts that a have to search for a 2018 because my 2019 classic wasn't listed- marc cormier

Adding aux switches?

mevotech have a good reputation and a lot of their product have a lifetime warranty. on my previous jeep i replaced the ball joint by the mevotech tough terrain, they are strong and well built. never got a problem whit them- marc cormier

i got an average of 13l/100km (i'm in canada) so roughly 18 mpg, almost no hyghway, on long highway trip i got between 10 and 11 liter by 100km so around 22 mpg- marc cormier

Winter questions for noob owner
like gamedog said, no 4wd at high speed. for shifting on the fly, gamedog, you're not stupid at all, as long as the 4 wheel are rolling at the same speed it will shift 4wd on and off without problem but having 4 wheel at the same speed on slippery surface like snow might be difficult so it's a...- marc cormier

Oem steel rims 17×7 on 285/70/17 mud tires?
the tire will fit the wheel without any problem. like others said, it should also fit under the truck without any issue. since the tire is wider then the stock i suggest you to do the chalk test on the tire to make sure your not over or under inflating. on my previous jeep wrangler i got 305...- marc cormier
