    Auto transmission fluid in diesel

    I retired from CMI four years ago. At that time the only product that was recommended was Power Service - Diesel Kleen. I add 5 ounces just before I fill up. The wrong additives or overtreatment can cause issues with intake valves and the exhaust particulate trap. Best wishes

    There is a cleanliness spec for DEF. I think it is an ASTM number. Cleanliness is very important. Try not to store it for too long(six months??). DEF absorbs water - probably mostly after opening a jug.

    Where is the OBDII port located? 2018 Ram 2500 w/8.4 Nav. Just received my adapter and looking to install. BTW- they told me the contract is 24 months and if you leave early you have to pay a ETF fee of $120 - prorated.
