Hello all. I bought my 2022 RAM 3500 Limited with a 6.7 Cummins HO brand new that same year. It currently has 75k miles on it. Unfortunately, I'm one of the lucky ones whose grid heater bolt came loose and got sucked into the intake. It made it through the intake valve of cylinder #5, cracked...- NewGTGuy

Soot buildup on heater grid if disconnected?
Hello all, I drive a 2017 Cummins Ram 3500, bone stock. I disconnected the grid heater 2 years ago because I don't want to take even a slim chance on destroying the engine by dropping the notorious bolt into the intake manifold. My question is about long term soot buildup on the grid heater...- headdown
