Hello to all. I am new to the forum but I am not new to turning wrenches. I was an automotive tech for about a decade before joining the Army as a 88L (watercraft engineer). 3rd gen to 4th gen door swap
Hey, was curious if any one has done a door swap from late 3rd gen to 4th gen doors on 1500s, or if it's even possible. Any Input would be great!! -

Will it fit?
I have an 02 1500, and i was wandering how easy/ difficult it would be to swap my crapped out blown 4.7, for a not so crapped out not so blown 5.9 of the same gen. And if it would mate to the same trans that was hooked up to the 4.7. Thanks in advance.- Griffin Sawyer

Swapping a 1992 D150 la 3.9 tbi for a 1989 la 318 tbi to be made carbed
I scored a parts truck roller with no body or engine harness that was a 1989 LA318/727 with tbi and the necessary mounting brackets off of craigslist for $200. The guy only needed the cab. I plan on doing a mild build on the engine before swapping based on a mixture of two popular...- T3CH83
