Can you install the headlight housings off of the 07/08 Rams, and install them on the 06' Ram's? I know the 06's have the amber strip on the bottom of the housing, and the 07-08's do not. Has anybody done this swap before?

yup, you will just have a plug left over from the lower amber bulb. pack it with dielectric, tape it off, be done with that. Pop in the 07-08s, all good.
