Hi Guys, I'm new here,
Tomorrow I'm scheduled to look at a 09 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab, Hemi Auto, Sport Pkg. 35,000 miles it has a 2.5 Lift/Leveling Kit, 35"x 12.50x20 M.T . Gooseneck Hitch, Brake Controller, Air Bag's Spring Assist Rear. Like New Condition,

Original owner has not reprogrammed to accommodate for the larger tires.

What kinda of MPG's should I see or expect from this set up....
and what kind of MPG's should I expect after throwing the superchips at it.

appreciated.
Thanks

I would be very cautious about buying a 1/2 ton with a 5th wheel on it. MPG Ave with a mix of city and highway prob in the 14s. Instant MPG on highway should hover around in the 20s

I totally agree with you, I'm going to test drive it tomorrow, it's a private seller and he would have to agree to allow dodge to check it out before purchase.

I drive about 50/50 city/hwy and get on average around 14.5-15.5 mpg with 34.5's. But I do have a heavy foot driving habit...if I were to calm down a bit I bet I could reach 16mpg ave...I've come close before but it killed my driving mood :driver:

First thing on the list,
Get the front windows tinted,
Swing into 4wheel parts and pick up the superchip,
remove those ugly vent visors off the windows... really hate those things,
then have my system installed, Kenwood DDX512, 2 JL audio 10's alpine 500watt amp

super excited, :big_banana_Dance::big_banana_Dance:

I only get about 9.8 mpg city and 14.5 mpg on hwy. Took truck to dealer to get ecu programmed for the oversize tires and they told me they got it as close as they could, but that my tire size was not an option in their computer. They advised me to get an aftermarket programmer, which is probably next on the list of mods. My speedo is about 5 mph off at 70 according to my gps. :insane:

welcome to RF. Unfortunately a programmer is not an option
