First time I've towed my trailer up Conway Grade with the Ram. My Chevy hated it and I would age ten years watching the gauges head for the red. It's a 6% grade for 5 miles from 6600 ft to 8150 ft. The ram handled it fine at 50 mph. Here is the summary:

What a great thread. Lots of pictures, few words.

Looks like a great time!

Looks like a great trip!
I always take the "these RAMs can pull up ANYTHING" threads with a huge grain of salt, but truth be told they are stout trucks, and mine amazed me similarly last year. Glad you enjoyed yourself.

Also caught my first Whitefish. I swore it was a rainbow till I netted it. I was camped directly across the street from Cabelas so I asked the guy in the fly shop and he confirmed it was a Whitefish. I caught three of them. This is the smallest at about 18 inches. Man can they fight. I had to go to the real three times each. that was fun.

That doesn't look like any whitefish I've ever seen... But the one's I have seen have come out of the great Lakes so they may have different pigments where you are. Usually they are never caught rod and reel because they have very soft lips.

Throw those guys in a smoker! Soooo tasty. They seem to have just the perfect oil content for smoking.

I had never heard that. If I ever get the chance again I'll give that a try.
