Hi all, decided I want to do a full drop instead of a 2" rear level. I can only seem to find 2/4 drops for regular cabs....are there any 4/6 ones? My requirements are as follows:
Decent ride still
fit 275/60/r20s without cutting/modding for rubbing
Not feel like I'm riding on balloons at 100mph
Not jump around at interstate speeds if hitting bumps
all-around better handling
Could someone outline what is needed to accomplish this, please? If 4/6 is a bad idea or MUCH more hassle, I can do 2/4. I gave up on trying to keep it reversible for a warranty, and just accept that my rear end won't be covered if I drop it. On that note, is there anything mechanically that gets ruined/worn out quickly with a 4/6 drop that would make a 2/4 drop less of a PITA? Or any parts that are needed to accomplish longevity with a drop, that might not be included with a cheap drop?
Thanks so much. I have never owned a fully lowered truck, only put rear drop springs in my 2wd trucks.
Take care.
